ANDREW SALLEE

Low Brass

Andrew Sallee is a low brass performer and educator based in Central Florida, where he currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Music at Florida Southern College and plays Solo Euphonium with the Brass Band of Central Florida. He earned his Bachelor’s in Euphonium Performance at the University of South Florida (’18) and his Master’s in Euphonium Performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music (’20), where he is currently finishing his Doctor of Music degree. His primary instructors include Joseph Alvarez, Jay Hunsberger, Carl Lenthe, and Brian Brink.


He has performed in a wide variety of musical settings including wind bands, brass bands, symphony orchestras, big bands, polka bands, and is a founding member of The Sequence Quartet. He has performed as a guest artist at events including the 2023 International Tuba/Euphonium Conference, the 2023 International Euphonium Tuba Festival, the 2022 Midwest and Southeast Regional Tuba/Euphonium Conferences, and at many university music schools in the United States. Andrew was a selected as a semi-finalist for the 2023 Leonard Falcone International Euphonium/Tuba Competition in the euphonium artist division and as a finalist in the brass division of the 2021 Indiana University Concerto Competition. As an educator, his students have been accepted into regional honor bands and have received top marks in Solo and Ensemble events at the local and state levels. 

Andrew performs on a Miraphone M5050 Ambassador Euphonium and a B&S 3085B Challenger Trombone.
